A truly magnificent safari trip, extending over 15 days and visiting all the best of Tanzania’s Northern Circuit and Zanzibar Beach, while also focusing on the magical movements of the migrating wildebeest herds. But this tour is not just about wildebeest, nor are we the only ones tracking them. The Migration means rich pickings for predators, so prepare for some drama! Our early July to October Migration Safari tracks the animal movements as they follow the timeless cycle in search of nourishment. Witness what Tanzania has to offer! you will have memorable adventures with professional staffs and experienced guides and cooks, our safari start from Moshi or Arusha and end to Zanzibar. This safari will take you to the Tarangire national park (1day), Lake Manyara (1d), Lake Natron (1d), Serengeti national park (5d), Ngorongoro Conservation Areas (2d), Zanzibar beach (3d) and arrive and departure (2d).

DAY 1
PRE DAY: Arriving in Moshi | Arusha, Tanzania

Our Kilimanjaro adventure starts the Moment, on your arrival at Kilimanjaro international Airport or Arusha Airport, one of our welcoming transfer drivers will take you to your selected accommodation for the night, Rest in the afternoon or relax at the pool. Our operations team will meet you to check all your equipment and to give you a thorough briefing of what to expect on your Safari.
DAY 2
Transfer to Tarangire National Park
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT
A Lodge/Tented Camp in/near Tarangire
Head to Tarangire, Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. The park has a variety of animal life including lion, leopard, elephant and cheetah. Have a half day game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Campsite/lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis
DAY 3
Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You will view Lake Manyara's game like good numbers of elephant, buffalo and wildebeest along with plenty of giraffe. Look more carefully for zebra, warthog, impala, Kirk's dik-dik, waterbuck in marshy areas near some of the springs, and klipspringer on the slopes of the escarpment. Full Board Basis
DAY 4
Lake Natron By Air/Helicopter Safari or Road/Cruiser Safari

Fly over the Great Rift Valley on an incredible journey with brunch and coffee stops along the way. Fly over Lake Natron to see the flamingos, Lengai (an active volcano), and waterfalls with swimming pools before flying past the famous Ngorongoro Crater & Embakai Crater. Upon return for a late lunch, your pilot will fly down towards Lake Eyasi where guests can marvel at the shimmering water and striking escarpment. By Road we’ll visit by Cruiser.
DAY 5
Game drive Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Drive to Ngorongoro Crater early morning. On arrival, you will descend into the crater for a game drive at the bottom. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite/lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis
DAY 6
Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge

After breakfast, at 08:00 am drive with picnic lunch boxes transfer to Ngorongoro Olduvai Gorge, commonly named as “The Cradle of Mankind”-an archaeological excavation site and museum where fossils of ‘Early East Africa Man’ were discovered by the Leakey family. In the late afternoon, we proceed to Serengeti National Park to see the Wildebeest Migration, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Campsite/lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis
DAY 7
Serengeti National Park - Incredible landscapes.

Have a full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds, you will expect to see baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys and many birds and other species. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Campsite/lodge/tented camp on Full Board Basis.
DAY 8
Serengeti National Park - Explore a Big Five
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT

After breakfast, we enjoy yet another game drive in the Serengeti National Park and we may well spot animals not yet encountered over the last two days. The Serengeti is also home to the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. We rove on our safari till evening begins to fall when we shall return to our lodge for dinner and well deserved rest.
DAY 9
Serengeti National Park (Optional Balloons Safari)

This whole day we will spend on a game drive in the Serengeti. During the short rainy season in November & December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south while during the longer rainy season from April to June they return back up north. This circle of life is determined by the rainfalls and locations of the herds might vary from year to year but our guide will know where to find the animals, where best to view them
DAY 10
Serengeti National Park > Following the Migration

On these days our 10th and 11th, we will rumble our way across the Serengeti’s vast plains in search of the migration. The location of the migration depends on the time of the year and could be as far as the remote North of the Serengeti near the border with Kenya, or alternatively, in the South, the Ndutu Region. Spend day taking in with all our senses this incredible Earthly paradise, exploring the park, its animals and incredible landscapes.
DAY 11
Serengeti National Park > Following the Migration

After our hearty breakfast a full day exploring The Serengeti National Park lies ahead of us with both morning and afternoon game drives. We will traverse the Serengeti’s vast plains in search of the migration. We will spend a full day taking in with all our senses this incredible Earthly paradise, exploring the park, its animals, and incredible landscapes.
DAY 12
Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast you will be transferred to Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met by Kim’zebra Adventures and Safaris representative and transferred to in Stone Town. Afternoon at leisure walk around the hotel area and get to know the locality. Overnight at hotel in Stone Town on Half Board Basis.
DAY 13
Zanzibar Stone Town, Spice Farm And Prison Island

Morning after breakfast, you will be met by our guide who will guide you to Stone town tour. On the way we will stop for a spice tour, exploring spices, coconut tree climb, fruits, and test some of the Zanzibar tropical fruits. Prison Island is 20 minutes away from Stone town by boat and has a spectacular coral reef to enjoy while snorkeling, giant tortoises shuffle through the trees with the patience that old age brings you.
DAY 14
Zanzibar Dolphins Tour Mnemba Island

We will start with the Dolphins tour; Dolphins can be found at Kombe, Tangini, West garden, Kichwani, or nearby Mnemba Island, those areas are located northeast of Zanzibar Island with no big crowds of tourist, you will spot groups of 10-30 dolphins so closer and around this area and they are more than 1000 of Dolphins. Even though Dolphins are wild animals and there are at Open sea where they can go anywhere but the chance of seeing Dolphins
DAY 15

After breakfast, Kim’zebra Adventures & Safaris representative will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight. Out of Tanzania & Zanzibar Island, Today you will have to bid a fond farewell to Tanzania and Zanzibar Island. At the appropriate time you will be taken to Zanzibar Airport for your international flight. See you again in Tanzania!
The Tour Price Includes
- Airport transfers (Pick-up and drop-off)
- One way domestic flight from Serengeti to Zanzibar.
- Bottled mineral water in the vehicle while on safari.
- Accommodation and meals per the itinerary (B=breakfast, L=lunch, D=dinner).
- Dinner on day 1, breakfast, lunch and dinner on day 2-14 and breakfast on day 15 of your trip.
- In case of a camping safari: camping gear like tents, camping mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows, camping chairs, etc.
- Game drives, Concession fees, Accommodation, All park entry fees, Government tax 18% VAT on tour fees and Service which cost nearly 100% of the total cost.
- Transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle from your hotel in Arusha to the parks and back (other pick-up points possible, please contact us for the right price)
- Ground transportation in a 8 setter or 6 setter 4x4 Safari vehicle with English Speaking Driver guide: -
- 8 setter Safari vehicle has 6 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- 6 setter Safari vehicle has 4 windows seats (in the passenger cabin) and 1 window seat next to the driver (in front)
- 4th day safari to Lake Natron, If we use a road or 4x4 Land Cruiser no additional price, except by Air or Helicopter Safari for 3 Hours duration - Helicopter flight over Lake Natron (Tanzania) additional price of USD $9000 Per helicopter, we can accommodate up to 5 passengers.
- Accommodation of your choice: from budget camping to staying in luxurious lodges, we can arrange it for you (The prices mentioned above are for overnight stays in Camping | Basic | Budget | Standard | Mid-range or Luxury hotels / lodges / tented camps according to your choice).
The Tour Price Excludes
- Meals not listed above. eg Breakfast and lunch on the first day, lunch and dinner on the last day.
- Tanzania Visa cost which is 50% except for Canadian and USA passport holders which is US$100.
- International and Domestic Flights and departure taxes (Quoted separately where applicable)
- Optional activities and excursions (short safari/tour after your Safari can be arranged upon request at an extra cost).
- Post day Accommodation in Zanzibar. If you wish, we can however assist you in finding a place that corresponds to your needs and budget.
- Flights or other transport to Arusha. We can however arrange airport pickup for you. Let us know your itinerary and we’ll make it happen!
- Tips for the crew. We recommend a tip of 25 USD per day for your guide, and 15 USD per day for your cook, to be divided between each member of your group.
- Serengeti Black Rhinos Project (Moru Kopjes) fees: US$ 100 + 35US$ (VAT18% & other fees) Per Person Per Day (Option, If you need).
- Ngorongoro | Ndutu balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $580, Child (7-16yrs) $530 {20th Dec - 31st March} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am.
- Serengeti balloon ride, per person Adult (Above 16yrs) $599, Child (7-16yrs) $545. {Central All year round, Western 15th May - 30th Oct, and North 15th June - 15th Jan} Daily launch at dawn (6:30am) returning approx. 9:45am.
- Inoculations and personal insurance (e.g. Tanzania Visa, Travel, Medical and Baggage insurance, A doctor for the group, Laundry, Souvenirs, Telephone, Beverages (available to purchase) and all other services that are not mentioned as included.
- Holiday Surcharge : A supplement of US $ 40.00 per person per day will apply to all bookings on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31 December and 1st January
- A supplement of US $ 35.00 per person will apply to all bookings between Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April (for all 4 days) as Easter holiday surcharge.
